Lok Sabha elections 2019: Bhadohi constituency in Uttar Pradesh

In the Lok Sabha Election held in 2009, for the first time after the restructuring of the constituency, Gorakhnath Pandey of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) registered a victory from this seat. Virendra Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party won from Bhadohi in the next general election in 2014.

The Bhadohi Lok Sabha constituency in eastern Uttar Pradesh was formed after the delimitation of assemblies in 2008.

The Bhadohi parliamentary constituency Pratappur, Handia, Bhadohi, Gyanpur and Aurai assembly segments under it. Dalits, Brahmins and Muslims are the most dominant communities in Bhadohi.

Ramesh Bind from BJP is currently leading after the first phase of counting of Election Result 2019.

Uttar Pradesh, which sends the maximum number of members to Parliament at 80, went to polls in all the seven phases of the Lok Sabha election 2019.
