Maharashtra’s 48 constituencies will vote to elect members to the Lok Sabha in four phases on April 11,18, 23 and 29.
Mumbai South Central Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra has been a Sena stronghold with the party retaining the seat for 1991 to 2004.
In 2009 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress wrested the seat from the Shiv Sena but Sena won it back in 2014 with 15% vote swing in its favour.
