The Karauli-Dholpur parliamentary constituency, which is reserved for Scheduled Tribes, came into existence after delimitation in 2008.

The assembly constituencies of Baseri (SC), Bari, Dholpur, Rajakhera, Todabhim (ST), Hindaun (SC), Karauli and Sapotra (ST) come under the Karauli-Dholpur Lok Sabha seat. It covers the Karauli and Dholpur districts of the desert state.

Bairwa and Jatav voters dominate the Karauli-Dholpur seat followed by Gurjar and Meenas. Brahmin, Mali, Rajput and Muslim voters are also present in this area.
