Hopes to Mohali, Watson to Jaipur
The UB-group backed outfit bag two India u-19 starlets, apart from Misbah ul-Haq and Abdur Razzak from Bangladesh.
Mumbai Indians have roped in the services of South African middle-order bat Ashwell Prince and two India U-19 internationals - Manish Pandey and Jharkhand's Saurabh Tiwary. Chennai have followed suit by signing up Napolean Einstein, Abhinav Mukund and Viraj Khadge. Delhi, have made their presence felt in the auction by purchasing Tasmania's Brett Geeves and their star left-armer Pradeep Sangwan. Western Australia's T20 specialist Luke Pomersbach has been snapped up by Mohali.
Rajasthan Royals, the Jaipur franchise also announced their latest sigings in Queensland and Australian all-rounder, Shane Watson, England and Hampshire all-rounder Dimitri Mascarenhas, South African Morne Morkel and the under-19 signings in Ravindra Jadeja and Taruwar Kohli. The outfit has also signed up upcoming Pakistan pacer Sohail Tanvir.
In the latest rounds of announcements, Tanmay Srivastava, the UP and India U-19 opener has been bagged by the Mohali franchise. Also joining him is his teammate - Ajitesh Argal. Austalian all-rounder James Hopes has also been bought by the Mohali franchise.
In the second round of IPL auctions, the Bangalore Royal Challengers have made the first moves, by bagging Pakistan's middle-order bat Misbah ul-Haq and Bangladesh's useful left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak. Apart from these two international signings, they have also manged to successfully draft in India's under-19 World Cup winners - Delhi's Virat Kohli and Bengal's Sreevatsa Goswami.
