The kiosks, called “Pulse Active Stations Network”, will provide users equipped with sensors that can identify around 18 parameters with predictive report of at least 12 diseases in just a couple of minutes. An earlier version of the system is already deployed in certain government-run health centres.

“People in cities such as Delhi have busy lifestyles and paying attention to their health often takes a backseat between work and day-to-day moving around. With these kiosks being installed right at the metro stations, they don’t have to go anywhere,” a Metro spokesperson said.

The official added, “They (commuters) can stop at these kiosks while going to work or while coming back and know if there is any deviation in their health parameters.”

A trained technician will also be available near these machines and will generate the results of the tests for the users, with a maximum wait time of two to three minutes. “We have given the contract for setting up these machines to Quantificare Heath Stations Pvt. Ltd for a period of three years,” the spokesperson added.
