Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan described as "very disturbing" the series of attacks on Indian students in Australia. "It's very unfortunate. It's very sad and very disturbing", he said.

He said it was not merely because the victims were Indians. "I think any human being should not be attacked. I don't think any human being's dignity should be attacked in this manner".
