BJP: Cong, BSP use cheap tactics to woo dalits
Mayawati seems least bothered of the crores of people of Uttar Pradesh and is talking of other's bathrooms and their soaps when people of the state struggle for enough water to take a bath, he added.
Amid a war of words between the Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party, BJP on Wednesday accused both the parties of resorting to cheap tactics to woo Dalit votes.
"In an attempt to win-over Dalit votes, both Congress and BSP are now crossing all decency in public life and are talking issues of bathroom instead of people's plight," BJP vice-president Muqhtar Abbas Naqvi said in New Delhi.
Mayawati seems least bothered of the crores of people of Uttar Pradesh and is talking of other's bathrooms and their soaps when people of the state struggle for enough water to take a bath, he added.
The saffron party leader also sought to warn the Uttar Pradesh chief minister against any utterances aimed at BJP or its leaders.
"She would be given an appropriate answer, befitting to her comment, if she dares to make any statement against Rajnath Singh or any BJP leader," he said.
