On Tuesday evening, Delhiites were treated to mesmerising Chinese-Buddhist music in the magical backdrop of Purana Qila.

Titled ‘Harmony of the Divine Land’, the concert was performed by the famous 160-member Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra from China to mark the beginning of the Festival of China in India.

The 70-minute, intermission-less performance— a splendid music narrative of Buddhist teachings, consisting of chorus, vocal solos and orchestra— created an ethereal atmosphere.
About 1000 people, including Chinese officials and diplomats from various countries, attended the concert.
