CBI sources said Krishna is being treated as a suspect in the case. Based on the information he provided, a CBI team and a
forensic team visited Talwar’s home on Monday and tried to recreate the scene of crime and sequence of events that took place on the night of May 15-16. The CBI also searched the Talwars’ Noida clinic for the weapon of offence and mobile phones of the deceased.

Krishna is crucial to the case, as he was close to both Talwar and Hemraj, sources said. Hemraj had apparently told Krishna he feared for his life.

Meanwhile, the CBI court in Ghaziabad dismissed Talwar’s bail application, as the court said it was not empowered to take up the matter. Talwar’s counsel moved a fresh application, which will come up for hearing on June 26.
