The cousin brother of Atif Ameen, the alleged Indian Mujahideen militant who masterminded serial blasts in Delhi and other cities, has been picked up by Delhi Police for questioning.

Shaqib Akhtar was taken into custody by the Special Cell, the elite anti-terror wing of the city police, from Shaheenbagh in south Delhi's Jamia Nagar, a senior police official said.

He is being questioned by policemen.
Atif was killed in a shootout with Delhi Police last Friday.
