19-yr-old delivers baby, says she was gangraped
Mumbai: Thane police have started investigation into the alleged kidnapping and gangrape of a 19-year-old woman from Ulhasnagar, who delivered a boy at Parel’s KEM hospital on Sunday. The incident came to light after the victim was admitted to the hospital for delivery. “She said she had been forced into a car by four men while returning home from college. She lost consciousness after they gave her an injection. She was then raped," said Chandrakant Deshmukh, inspector of Vithalwadi police station.

Minor raped, killed in UP
Lucknow: A 15-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Barabanki district on Sunday evening. The girl, a resident of Bindaur village, was kidnapped by a neighbour, Parvesh, on Saturday. Her body was found in the toilet of the village primary school. The youth has been arrested, said a police officer.

Dalit kidnapped, raped for 15 days
Lucknow: A 15-year-old Dalit girl was kidnapped, held captive and raped for 15 days by three men in Dharauli village of Sultanpur district. A police officer said the girl had gone missing on December 14. She was freed on Saturday. While in captivity, she had been regularly raped by the men. One Raju has been arrested.

Another minor victim in Amritsar
Amritsar: Two cases of rape came to light in Amritsar on Monday. One of the victims was a minor. The 13-year-old girl had been regularly raped by a neighbour for the last four months, her aunt has alleged. The accused, Dhoti Yadav, has been arrested. In the second incident, a man was booked for taking advantage of a woman after promising her marriage.

Youth arrested for eve-teasing
Kapurthala: A 21-year-old student had been arrested by the police on charges of harassing a girl for months. In her complaint, the mother of the victim said Deepak was harassing her daughter, a student at local PTU distance education study centre. "He even threatened my daughter with abduction," she said in her complaint.

11-yr-old raped by 3 minors, one held
Guwahati: An 11-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by three minor boys at Gorimari village of Darang district. The boys had assaulted her when she was alone at home on Saturday night. . "We have arrested one of the boys. Two others are on the run. The arrested boy has confessed to the crime," said an officer at the Mangaldoi police station.

19-yr-old abducted, raped in Jhajjar
Rohtak: The police have booked two men for abducting and raping a 19-year-old girl from Bahadurgarh town of Jhajjar district. The victim was abducted from a park on Sunday. The men allegedly took her to the Bamdoli-Barahai road and took turns to rape her. On Monday morning, she was dumped at Bahadurgarh.
