One of the accused, Feroze, lit up a cigarette. “Jagir told him smoking was not allowed. Feroze and his friend Shakil took up a fight with him. They argued and left the place. After some time, the duo returned with a knife and attacked Singh. They fled the scene after that,” said Jaspal Singh, DCP (northeast).

Jagir started bleeding and died on his way to the hospital. A case was registered at the Shahadra police station and the accused were arrested on Thursday.
