The death of a man in police custody triggered protests in Palwal on Thursday, forcing the administration to suspend seven policemen and register murder case against them.

The police picked up Sanjay Kumar late on Wednesday from his house in connection with the death of a 10-year-old.

Sanjay allegedly called Nikhil to his house, after which the Class 4 student disappeared. His dead body was later found wrapped inside a bag in Prakash.
Sanjay's family members raised slogans after news of his death. MLA Subhash Chaudhary also joined in the protests.
