A 16-year-old girl allegedly kills herself after failing to clear the Class XII CBSE examinations.
A 16-year-old girl on Friday allegedly killed herself in the capital as she could not clear the Class XII CBSE examinations, the results of which were declared this morning.
Manisha Meena, who appeared for the Class XII exams this March, bolted the door of her room in her residence in west Delhi's Dabri soon after the results were out and was found hanging at around 3:30 pm, police said.

A "suicide note" was recovered from the room, in which she said she took the extreme step as she failed to fulfill the aspirations of her parents and was feeling sorry for that.
Her father is a lower division clerk in the Railways.
A case has been registered and investigations are on.
