Film star and Lok Sabha members Jaya Prada and Raj Babbar are in for politicking in the election year vying for tickets from different parties to clinch to their seats in the House yet again.
While Jaya Prada is hoping to get Samajwadi Party nomination from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh again, Babbar is eying the Fatehpur Sikri seat in the state on a Congress ticket to return to the 15th Lok Sabha.
Babbar was elected on a SP ticket to the Lok Sabha from neighbouring Agra, which has now become a reserved constituency after the delimitation exercise.
Posing for the shutterbugs together outside Parliament on the last day of the session, they said like-minded parties should come together.
"I am too small too comment on the seat-sharing talks between the SP and the Congress," Jaya Prada told reporters expressing hope that things should go well.
She further said, "I want to continue the work which I have been doing for the last five years for the people of Rampur."
Babbar echoed similar sentiments. "I hope to come back to the Lok Sabha again," he said, reflecting on the work he did as an MP for the last five years.
On seat sharing merely said, "If two like-minded parties come together, it is good".
