A court source said, "We have invited five poets from Delhi Hindi Academy. Moreover, we have encouraged judges and their staff to write poems of their interest, and recite on stage." The source added that it was an event specifically meant to destress the judiciary.

However, advocates have been kept away from participation. "It is a platform for us to recite poems along with district judges. Events like these rev up confidence and act like a soothing balm amid our hectic schedules," said a court member at Tis Hazari Court.

A source in the Delhi district court staff association said that the association is upbeat with current poetry recital events and invites participation in large numbers.

The circular stated that participants could recite poems on topics ranging from the comic to those that involve social awareness.
