Attacking SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, expelled party leader Amar Singh on Saturday accused him of betraying Left parties "yet again" by abstaining from voting on the cut motions in Lok Sabha earlier this week.
Taking a dig at Yadav, Singh wondered as to how long will the SP chief continue to seek "revenge" from the Left for withdrawing support to UPA-I over the Indo-US nuclear deal.
Minutes before the cut motions were put to vote in Lok Sabha on Tuesday, Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Janta Dal walked out of the House. They later said they did not want to vote along with "communal" BJP.
Singh wrote in his latest blog posting that the first time Yadav "betrayed" the Left was when "you broke an alliance of which late Jyoti Basu was president and you were the convenor. The second time you betrayed the Left when you deserted the newly formed UNPA and supported the UPA-I government. And now again you abstained from voting in favour of the cut motion brought by the Left".
Taking a jibe at Yadav, Singh "thanked" him for keeping the Third Front divided.
He wrote, "be it Lalu Prasad, Sharad Yadav, Sonia Gandhi or your old associate of 14 years-yours truly. We all know you very well. As long as you are there, the politics of secular forces and the Third Front will always remain divided. I congratulate you for the division of the Third Front."
