The central government Wednesday ordered a National Investigation Agency probe into the alleged terror links of controversial Kerala police officer Tomin J. Thachenkery.

Thachenkery, holds the rank of Inspector General of Police, was posted in Kannur. He was suspended in April after his alleged terror links surfaced.
