A Pakistani national was today detained by Delhi Police from a Metro station due to his alleged suspicious activities within its premises.

Mohammed Ramzan, a 35-year old Pakistani national was allegedly clicking photographs of women in the Rajauri Garden Metro station of West Delhi when some passengers took note of it and caught hold of him, official sources said.

The passengers called Central Industrial Security Force officials who then handed him over to Delhi Police, they said.

Ramzan was travelling with valid passport and visa and is said to be a resident of Lahore, the sources said.

Delhi Police is questioning him, they said. Photography is strictly prohibited in the Metro areas.
