Rare idol worth Rs 9 cr recovered

A 92 kg antique idol valued at Rs. nine crore was recovered in the Capital with the arrest of six youth. According to police, the accused Rabindernath Chand (25), George Eric Parker (25), Ganpati (28), Mukesh Singh (27), Satbir Sharma (28) and Rahul (27) were apprehended near government school on DDU Marg yesterday on a tip off.

The accused told police that the idol had been stolen from a Jain Temple in Rajasthan.
