"We have brought him here to interrogate him on his possible links to the Delhi blasts. We will seek at least one week's police remand for him," he added.

Peerbhoy has been accused of sending a terror e-mail to media outlets minutes before the serial bombings in Delhi Sep 13 last year that killed 24 people.

Peerbhoy's revelations are expected to give the police insights into the role of suspected Indian Mujahideen plotters Riyaz Bhatkal, his brother Iqbal and Amir Reza Khan, who are all absconding.

According to police, Peerbhoy worked with a multinational software company in Pune, earning an annual salary of Rs 1.9 million. He allegedly hacked unsecured WiFi networks in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai and sent e-mails to TV news channels minutes before the July 26 Ahmedabad blasts and the Delhi bombings.
