Indian players chill out after a practice session in Delhi on Tuesday at the Feroz Shah Kotla Grounds.

Spa treatments, drinks by the poolside and teeing off at the golf course — the Indian cricketers lived it up during their short stop in the Capital.

Indian and Dutch players arrived in Delhi on Monday for their match against each other yesterday. While staying at the Taj Palace Hotel on Sardar Patel Marg, some went shopping while others stayed back to relax.

“Swimming seemed to be a favourite pastime and some even played golf,” says a source from the hotel.

The source adds that Zaheer Khan ordered “a lot of” South Indian coffee and Virender Sehwag drank a lot of chilled lassi. While Dhoni and Ashish Nehra gorged on Indian delicacies, Sachin Tendulkar opted for an English breakfast with English Breakfast Tea. At nights, most were spotted chilling at the hotel’s Blue Bar.

Only the Indian coach, Gary Kirsten, stayed with his wife and children, while the others enjoyed their stag time.
