Hrithik Roshan is 'excited to watch' Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Actor Hrithik Roshan is 'excited to watch' his father, actor-director Rakesh Roshan and uncle-music director Rajesh Roshan as guests on the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs. Taking to Instagram, Hrithik posted a video of Rakesh Roshan and Rajesh appearing on the sets of the show in the upcoming episode, The Roshans Special. In the clip, Rakesh got a standing ovation from the judges of the show--Shankar Mahadevan, Anu Malik and Neeti Mohan. He said in the video, "Main koi show mein jata nahi hun kabhi. Yeh show dekha TV pe toh maine khud phone kiya ki ‘Main is show mein aana chahta hun' (I never go to any show. I watched this show on TV and I called up myself saying, ‘I want to come to this show’)."

In the show, contestants Atanu Mishra and Aarohi Soni performed Rakesh's song Tum Se Badhkar from the film Kaamchor. The song was featured on Rakesh and the music director of the film was Rajesh Roshan. Rakesh was also seen dancing with show host Bharti Singh.

Sharing the video, Hrithik wrote, "Music and songs have always been at the core of the Roshan household, dating back to my daduji (grandfather) Shri Roshan Lal Nagrath. Excited to watch my dad @rakesh_roshan9 & my dear chacha @rajeshroshan24 come together on TV for the first time to celebrate the music only on #ZeeTV’s #SRGMPLilChamps! Can’t wait to watch this one!"

Earlier, Rakesh had shared the same clip on his Instagram account. The episode will air in the coming weekend. Reacting to the post, Hrithik had commented, "Woah! This is FUN! Looking amazing papa."

Rajesh on Thursday shared a string of pictures from the sets of the show. He captioned the post, "Sitaaron ki mehfil mein goonjega taraana (A line from the title track of the 2000 film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai)." In the first photo, Rakesh and Rajesh posed with Bharti, Shankar, Anu and Neeti. The brothers also posed with the contestants in another picture. The last photo showed Rakesh and Rajesh smiling for the camera.

Fans will see Hrithik next in Fighter, helmed by Siddharth Anand. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. It is touted to be India's first aerial action drama. Fighter is scheduled to release in theatres on January 25, 2024.
