Kareena Kapoor Khan got a glamorous makeover on Wednesday before resuming mommy duties to her newborn son. She welcomed her second child with her husband Saif Ali Khan last month. They are also parents to four-year-old Taimur.

In a new Instagram post, Kareena debuted her new hairdo and wrote, “Ok I’m ready for more burp cloths and diapers. Thank you my absolutely fabulous @yiannitsapatori.” She could be seen with shorter hair and brown highlights.

Last month, Anushka Sharma, who welcomed daughter Vamika with Virat Kohli in January, shared a picture of herself posing with a 'burp cloth' on her shoulder. “Current favourite accesory - Burp cloth,” she had captioned it. Burp cloths used to clean up newborn babies, who tend to spit up when they are burped.

Earlier on Wednesday, Kareena teased her new hairstyle on Instagram stories. Sharing a picture of her hairstylist, Yianni Tsapatori, she wrote: "Gangsta maestro @yiannitsapatori at work today.” She posted another photo and asked fans to take a guess about her new look. “Which colour am I going to do guys?” she asked, giving two options -- balayage and blonde.

Yianni also shared a video of Kareena in the salon chair while he was at work. “One step closer… @kareenakapoorkhan #kareenakapoorkhan,” he captioned his Instagram post.

On International Women’s Day, Kareena shared the first glimpse of her newborn. She posted a picture of herself holding him in her arms and wrote, “There’s nothing women can’t do. Happy Women’s Day my loves #InternationalWomensDay.” However, she and Saif are yet to reveal his name or face.

Saif and Kareena welcomed the baby boy on February 21. Ahead of the arrival of the little one, the family moved to a more spacious apartment, just across the street from their former Fortune Heights residence. The new home boasts of a nursery for the little one and a swimming pool, among other things.
