Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto, who’s riding high on the Oscar success of the film, has been roped in to star in Woody Allen’s new flick.

star Freida Pinto, who’s riding high on the Oscar success of the film, has been roped in to star in Woody Allen’s new flick. In an interview to U.S. morning news programme Today, the 24-year-old star credited director Danny Boyle for landing a role in three-time Oscar winner Allen’s new venture.

quoted her as saying. Slumdog Millionaire swept the Oscar by winning 8 awards including the Best Film.
Composer AR Rahman walked away with two awards for Best Original Score, while shared the Best Original Song gong with renowned lyricist Gulzar.
