Aditya Narayan shows major body transformation after Covid-19 recovery, leaves Vikrant Massey in awe

Singer and television host Aditya Narayan, currently seen as the host of Indian Idol 12, gave fans a glimpse of the major body transformation he underwent after recovering from Covid-19. He shared two shirtless selfies on Instagram; while he flaunted his paunch in the first one, the second one showed him looking much fitter.

“If you can’t love me at my.. (15th April 2021 - The day I tested covid -ve),” Aditya Narayan captioned the first post, in which he was seen with a protruding belly. “You don’t deserve me at my.. (15th June 2021),” the follow-up post, in which he looked fitter, read.

Actor Vikrant Massey was stunned by the transformation and commented, “Wooooaaaaahhhhhh!!!!! Whattayyyy wowwwww!!!! From Nanu Halwai to Nanu Jalwaiiii.” Comedian Zakir Khan jokingly complained that the first picture was more relatable. “Yeh koi tareeka nahi hota hai. Peeche photo me connect tha, apnaapan tha (This is no way to do things. People could connect to the earlier photo, it had a relatability),” he wrote.

Singer Shalmali Kholgade, commenting on his first post, said, “Love this. More power to being who you are, freely and proudly.”

On April 3, Aditya took to Instagram to announce that he and his wife Shweta Agarwal had tested positive for Covid-19. “Hello all! Unfortunately, my wife @shwetaagarwaljha & I have tested positive for Covid-19 & are in quarantine. Please stay safe, continue to follow protocol & do keep us in your prayers. This too shall pass,” he wrote.

Later that month, Aditya returned to Indian Idol 12 as the host. The music reality show is currently being shot in Daman, amid the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Recently, Aditya was in the news for defending Indian Idol 12 after singer Amit Kumar criticised a Kishore Kumar tribute episode and said that he simply followed the makers’ instructions to praise the contestants, irrespective of his opinion.
