Anushka’s pale pink royal-feeling lehenga with a voluminous A-line skirt was fairytale-esque with beautiful Renaissance embroidery in vintage English colours embellished with silver-gold metal thread, pearls and beads. The beaming bride completed her standout look with bridal jewellery from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection that was handcrafted with syndicate uncut diamonds, pale pink spinel and baroque Japanese cultured pearls. Truly stunning -- we can’t stop talking about it!
Here’s everything we know about Anushka’s entire playful, but polished wedding day look.
The bride wore a blush pink lehenga for the pheras. Keeping in mind the setting, Sabyasachi chose a pastel hue in place of a traditional red one for the ceremony. On his official Instagram account, the designer wrote that it took 67 karigars, 32 days to hand embroider the lehenga in silk floss, which bore motifs of exotic birds and butterflies.
To complement the pale pink lehenga, the bride wore traditional jewellery -- a mathapatti, layered necklaces and jhumkas in jadau, pearls and pink spinel.
