Masaba Gupta gives fashion advice: Three looks to look beautiful on Diwali

Since the festival to dress up and look dazzling is upon us, we grabbed a quick chat with the ever-stylish fashion designer, who shared her top style tips for looking great on Diwali. So, ladies, use her help and give your celebrations some extra sparkle.

Okay, it's Diwali season. And every savvy fashionista who's worth her vintage jackets and sexy LBDs knows that there's nothing gaudy or tacky about dressing up in her fancy best on Diwali. And unless predictable is your middle name, you would want to have fun experimenting with prints, textures and colours.

So you know you've got the physical attributes to carry off any diva glam outfit, but you don't want to dress too sexy. But trust us ladies, Diwali is not the time to look for seasonal practicality or worry about those beautifully crafted lace and satin bras adding some peek-a-boo fun to your ensemble.

Messy Braid with hair accessories like colorful beads & single feather extensions.

Put on a dramatic liner and kajal to do a brown smoky eye look or go for a 60s dramatic winged liner and highlight your under eye with white pencil to get a boho vintage look.

Lush coral or a sun kissed bronze/nude

A lot of chunky jewelry, thin metal bangles and rings. Basically, the more the better.

Flat boots, ankle length or high rise. But if you want to play safe go for a slinky stiletto in a classic nude tone.
