The designer has used fabrics like silk, cotton, chiffons, georgettes, velvet and even wools in his outfits, highlighted with loads of texturing, stretching and patchwork.

There were high waist skirts as well as long skirts with the fabric folded in layers in a triangle shape, giving the appearance as if a number of triangles were attached to the skirt. The skirts were coupled with pleated balloon blouses with gatherings at the sleeves, neck and waist.

Despite minimal embroidery, the fabric was cleverly used to give the look of richness. In some dresses, the fabric was pleated and gathered to look like knots and flowers. In jackets, the same styling was used to give them a fur look.

There were long coats for women as well as handkerchief dresses and bikinis.

In Bal's suits, the fabric was layered in a triangular shape to give the look of collars and tie. On the sleeves, the fabric was folded in a cone shape to give the look of buttons. For men, the collection featured dhotis teamed with coats and pants, sherwanis and layered skirts matched with coats.
