However, certain things need to be kept in mind when having ginger juice. Firstly, consult a professional before starting your routine. The ginger water needs to be kept mild as it can cause burning sensations in the mouth and stomach when taken in higher concentrations.

How to make yourself some ginger juice:

1. Peel off the skin of the ginger and cut into pieces.

2. Grate the ginger.

3. Collect the grated ginger in a cheesecloth and place a bowl below it. Squeeze the cloth until juice oozes out.

4. You can either consume the juice in this fashion or add a bit of rock salt for taste.

Apart from reducing bloating, ginger juice has various other uses also. Following are some of the other problems that it can help in:

Blood pressure: Ginger acts as a blood thinner and hence is a good way of reducing one’s blood pressure. When having ginger juice, you could also mix it up with a few drops of honey to add some taste.

Reduces pain: Ginger helps in lessening various pains such as tooth aches and migraines. Since ginger is an anti-inflammatory agent, it prevents the blood vessels from getting inflamed and hence increases the blood flow to the body, thus reducing pain.

Arthritis: Ginger can aid those suffering from arthritis since it is an anti-inflammatory agent and thus reduces swelling and inflammation in those suffering from arthritis.

Lowers cholesterol: Ginger can help in cholesterol reduction since it removes blockages in blood vessels which could potentially lead to heart attacks.
