Men posing as railway officers con guard of Rs 60,000 in Gurugram

Rajbir (41), a guard at Indian Railways, told police the accused transferred Rs 60,000 from his account on July 22, after tricking him into disclosing his bank account details over telephone.
A 41-year-old man was allegedly cheated of Rs 60,000 by men, posing as railway officials, in the Farrukhnagar area, police said on Thursday.

An FIR was filed at Farrukhnagar police station on August 15 under Section 420 (cheating) of the IPC. Jaiveer Singh, the investigating officer, said the fraudsters transferred the money to two digital wallets and police have asked the firms to submit transactions details.
