Scorsese's 3D adventure won the coveted prize for best production design in a period film, beating competition from fellow nominees The Artist, The Help, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Anonymous, the Daily Express reported.
Kate Winslet’s acclaimed turn in TV mini-series ‘Mildred Pierce’ helped the show in getting the award for best production in a TV movie or miniseries and Boardwalk Empire was honoured with the one-hour single camera television series.
The Art Directors Guild Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, California, USA, celebrates excellence in production design and art direction.
