RIP Humanity: Twitter reacts to Delhi hit-and-run

The video has prompted an outcry on social media with most Twitter users expressing their shock that no one attempted to help the man.

A 40-year-old e-rickshaw driver bled to death after being hit by a speeding tempo in west Delhi’s Subhash Nagar on Wednesday morning. Police say the victim, identified as Matibool, lay bleeding on the road for close to 90 minutes before they reached the spot.

CCTV footage showed that no one came to his aid but simply walked or drove past the body. The one man who did pause only did so to pick up the victim’s mobile phone which was lying next to the victim.
