Another batch of 885 pilgrims on Tuesday left Jammu for the Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas.

Tuesday's batch is the smallest since the commencement rims due to continued bandh and curfew in Jammu and other parts of the region.

Tuesday's batch, comprising 604 men, 167 women, 13 children and 101 sadhus, left from the base camp at Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu around 0500 hours amidst tight security, officials said.
With Tuesday's batch, as many as 43,643 devotees have left from Jammu to the hill temple in Kashmir since the beginning of yatra on June 17.
