An estimated 61.5 per cent of 2.73 crore electorate voted in the first phase of simultaneous elections to 21 Lok Sabha and 147 assembly constituencies on April 20, 2004.
An estimated 61.5 per cent of 2.73 crore electorate voted in the first phase of simultaneous elections to 21 Lok Sabha and 147 assembly constituencies on Tuesday.
Sattupalli assembly segment in Khammam Lok Sabha constituency registered the highest percent of 84.7 polling while the lowest turnout of 41.48 was recorded in Yakutpur assembly segment in Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Ajay Sawhaney told reporters here today.
