Acid thrower held in Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested a youth for throwing acid on a girl in Srinagar's uptown area of Parray Pora. DIG Syed Afad-ul-Mujtaba said the girl has been admitted to hospital. "The perpetrator will be brought to justice at the earliest," said the DIG.

He ordered that the investigation of the case will be pursued expeditiously.
The accused has been identified as Reyaz Ahmad Nath, son of Ghulam Rasool Nath, a resident of Lone Mohallah in Chanapora.
