Afridi reverses decision to quit Tests
The Pakistan all-rounder has put back his decision to quit Tests until next year's World Cup, a PCB official said on Thursday.
Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has put back his decision to quit Tests until next year's World Cup, a Pakistan cricket board official said on Thursday.
"I have spoken with Afridi over phone and convinced him that his decision was not in his own interest or that of the team," Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Shaharyar Khan said.
"Afridi assured me after the conversation that he would be available for the both forms of the game," the PCB chief said.
Afridi had announced earlier this month that he would not play any Tests until the World Cup to concentrate on one-day cricket.
He had said he was having problems adjusting between the two forms of the game.
Pakistan is due to play 10 Tests before next year's World Cup in the West Indies.
