Amar Singh moves SC over CD circulation

The TV channels have not aired the CD and are seeking judicial permission before doing the same.
Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh has moved the Supreme Court seeking judicial inquiry into the incident of circulation of CDs containing conversations tapped from his telephone.
"We have filed an application in the pending petition relating to the circulation of the CD," Singh's counsel Pradeep Kumar said.

Amar Singh had asked TV channels not to air the contents but to hand over the CD to the Supreme Court.
The CD contains his conversations with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, Anil Ambani and unnamed actresses.
