Bailey's captaincy can work in India's favour

The new look Australian team for the Twenty20 series will be looking forward to keep up the winning momentum, which will do them a lot of good going into the tri-series. The Indians will look to overcome the traumatic memory of this tour so far. There isn't much to choose between the two teams as players in both the sides play a lot of T20 cricket throughout the year.

Slow & low wicket
The wicket at Sydney's Olympic stadium is sort of slow and low so should favour the Indians, as that's the sort of wicket they mostly play in the IPL. They have some tremendous T20 players like Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Manoj Tiwary, and R Ashwin. However, Australia will look to get Virender Sehwag out as early as possible.

He didn't click in the Test series and will look to prove a point. In T20, one man can take the game away from the opposition and Sehwag's prowess in that is known to the world.

Most of the Australia players are coming off the Big Bash League, and also what gives them a slight edge is the fact that they are playing at home. However, George Bailey's appointment as skipper can work in India's favour.

Surprising decision
Amongst many, this decision surprised me too. He played the BBL under Cameron White for Melbourne Stars and wasn't in great form.

There is no doubt he is a very good cricketer and has truly proven his leadership credentials for Tasmania, but at the same time to make an international debut as skipper will put him under a lot of pressure.

You generally don't have a skipper whose place in the side at the first place is debatable. India can take advantage of this situation if they can keep up the pressure.

I also look forward to seeing Brett Lee and Brad Hogg play. Hogg's comeback at 40 has surprised many but those who have seen him bowl in the BBL will agree with this decision.

He was by far the best bowler and played a key role in Perth Scorchers' success.

Travis Birt has also been in very good form and is an ideal T20 player. With the world T20 coming up later this year, guys like Birt and Mitchell Marsh have a lot to play for.
