Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Sunil Sharma while addressing media persons in Jammu on Tuesday alleged that it was a serious problem that there was unchecked spate of backdoor appointments in Kishtwar and Doda districts at the behest of minister of state home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo and open election campaign was being run by the administration in favour of the National Conference (NC).
Sharma said the BJP expressed its concern and resentment over the dirty tricks by the ruling party and its leaders.
The BJP leader said he had evidences regarding the recent backdoor appointments at several departments in Kishtwar and Doda districts. Sharma said, "The districts officers concerned, with involvement of deputy commissioners, are issuing backdoor appointment orders in favour of some blue eyed people of NC and Congress leaders, and these orders are being handed over to Kichloo for further distribution."
Sharma said neither any advertisement was issued, nor any interview or other selection procedure was followed. "This amounts to a serious offence," he said.
The BJP leader warned the ruling party and the district administration against such illegal tactics, adding that if these orders were not revoked, BJP would soon lodge a complaint with the election commission of India, and if needed, a PIL in the high court would also be filed.
