Bomb scare at Kozhikode airport

A red alert was issued at the airport in Kozhikode on Thursday after a hoax call to the Jet Airways office that a bomb had been planted in the complex.

The airline's office received the anonymous call around 10 am, and security personnel screened the entire airport but nothing untoward was detected.

Security has been stepped at the airport and all vehicles are being screened thoroughly, officials said.
