A 500,000 pounds trust was set up to provide them schooling and apartments, but a source said: "Their lives do not appear to be any better."
Recently, both the kids were thrown on the streets after Mumbai civic authorities demolished nearly 50 shanties in a slum, terming them unauthorised.
