Brendan Ross Murray Taylor

Another one to join the team after the 'rebel' controversy hit the Zimbabwe Cricket Board in 2003-04. 28 year-old Brendan Taylor has long been seen as potential Test player.

An opener he has the ability to build an innings, a fact proven by close to 30 centuries to his credit in all classes of cricket.

Playing the game from a young age, he has played in two Under-19 World Cups already. He made his first-class debut for Mashonaland A at the age of 15. He was selected for the CFX Academy in 2004.
