In a chat with G Krishnan, Mumbai Indians captain said the Daredevils have been playing really well. Their batting looked pretty solid and bowling is balanced.

Virender Sehwag knew he was an innings away from returning to form. In the final league match on Thursday, he scored a 27-ball 50 to help the Delhi Daredevils win by a handsome margin against MI. “I have never seen anybody flop in 10-12 matches in a row. My return to form is very important for the team. I am happy with my knock," said skipper Sehwag.

Sehwag’s idol and counterpart Sachin Tendulkar said the Daredevils were “a very strong side and one would have to be on top to beat them” in the knockout. “In this format, you take chances and score runs. The chances are taken at vital periods of the game. Instead of a big six, you could be caught at long on and the match goes out of your hands. The Daredevils have been playing really well. Their batting looked pretty solid and bowling is balanced,” he said. Tendulkar said captaincy had been tough. “There have been times when I could not do anything,” he said.
