Sir Anthony Hopkins' Oscar winning portrayal of Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs has been voted as the 'Ultimate Movie Bad Guy', in a poll conducted by a new hip hop magazine.
According to Vibe magazine editors, Hopkins' character with "a chilly, controlled, career performance" in the 1991 release easily took an edge over Star Wars villain Vader, which came in second on the list, reports Contactmusic.
Third position was taken by A Nightmare On Elm Street villain Freddy Krueger, played by Robert Englund, followed by Laurence Fishburne's portrayal of Ike Turner in What's Love To Do With It?
The character of Norman Bates, depicted by Anthony Perkins in Psycho franchise rounded off the top five.
