A fierce clash between two families, already engaged in a property dispute, claimed the life of a man in a village about 15 km from Faridabad on Saturday.

Malkhan Singh, an employee of Business Standard newspaper who was posted in Delhi as an administrative assistant, was beaten to death. Police have registered a case of murder against 15 people in this connection.

The incident occurred when a few women from the victim’s family were cleaning a drain outside their house in Sunpad village.

It is alleged that a few members of Rattan Singh’s family picked a fight with the women, leading to a violent clash. Rattan is the uncle of Malkhan Singh.
