Claiming that there were no differences within the party in Kerala now, veteran leader K Karunakaran on Tuesday said the new-found unity in Congress would remain forever notwithstanding the outcome of Lok Sabha polls.

"This unprecedented unity, as you see, among us will continue to be so in the future also whatever be the outcome of the polls", he said, inaugurating the party's 'Navodhana Yatra', led by Chief Minister AK Antony from here to "instil enthusiasm among party workers to support UDF candidates".

Karunakaran said he had come to join the road show keeping aside "several difficulties" as he did not want to give way "for wrong messages" from being spread across the state against the present unity within the party.
