"The alliance with the Trinamool Congress will continue. We know how to run an alliance. The UPA is also an alliance," Mukherjee told a rally in Siliguri.

The people of the state, he said, should seize the opportunity and end the "misrule" of the Left Front government in the ensuing Assembly elections.
