The local court has fixed April 28 for giving its order on the complaint against film star and BJP candidate, Dharmendra, for concealment of information regarding his name and religion.
The local court has fixed April 28 for giving its order on the complaint against film star and BJP candidate, Dharmendra, for concealment of information regarding his name and religion in his nomination papers for Lok Sabha elections.
The complainants have requested the court to order registration of a criminal case against Dharmendra.
The First Class Judicial Magistrate Narendra Jain, on Monday, instructed the complainants Akhtar Baig and K K Mishra to submit a copy of the Hindi translation of the nikah-nama which the complainants had submitted to the court a few days back claiming that it was the evidence of Dharmendra's marriage with Hema Malini through Muslim tradition after his conversion to
Islam.
The complainants' counsel, Shailendra Dwivedi, submitted the nikahnama to the court with affidavit of the translator on Monday afternoon.
Later, the Judicial Magistrate said in his order that because the Hindi translation of the nikah-nama was submitted to the court on Monday, it was not possible for the court to give its order on the complaint on the same day, hence April 28 was fixed as the next date.
