CPI(M) activist killed in WB, Congmen arrested

District Left Front convenor Jiban Maitra alleged that Congress had been targeting the party office ever since it was set up.
A CPI(M) activist was killed and five others were injured when miscreants threw bombs at the party office at Chalksari village in West Bengal, the police said.
The injured were involved in a party programme last night when they were allegedly attacked by Congress men. The deceased was identified as Alam Saikh (30).

The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
Six Congress activists, including block leader Shamin Skaikh, have been arrested in this connection, District Superintendent of Police Dilip Mondol said.
